Treatment Q&A
TREATMENT QUESTIONS
  • Q. What is the difference between IPL and Laser Toning?
Toxnfill IPL is a device that irradiates light of various wavelengths to the skin, and is mainly effective for epidermal pigmentation.
Laser Toning is effective in improving dermal pigmentation by irradiating 2 different wavelengths according to the pigmentation condition.
Therefore, there may be cases where the 2 types of equipment are used in conjunction.

At Toxnfill, we recommend a method appropriate for your skin condition through customized consultation with medical staff.
  • Q. Can scabs form after laser treatment?
Toxnfill In the case of IPL, scabs (keratin) may sometimes form within 2 - 3 days after the treatment. This scab will fall off naturally within a few days, so please be careful not to remove it with your hands.
Precautions
CAUTIONS

Self-care has as much of an impact on treatment effectiveness as maintenance.
Please read the precautions and follow them carefully.

  • It is recommended you avoid excessive drinking, saunas/jimjillbangs, hot baths and strenuous exercise for approximately a week after the treatment.
  • After the treatment, you may experience redness or a slight burning sensation in the face but this side effect should resolve quickly.
  • Occasionally a scab may form after the treatment, but it will fall off naturally, so be careful not to remove it with your hands.
  • Because the treatment is accompanied by dryness, it is recommended that you frequently use moisturizer and regenerating cream. Be sure to apply sunscreen when going out.
  • You can wash your face and put on makeup on the day of the treatment, but please avoid using scrubs or peeling treatments.
  • Please refrain from using cosmetics containing retinol for whitening and wrinkle improvement.
