Ulthera Principle
PRINCIPLE OF ULTHERA
  • First Stage
    Collagen Degeneration

Thermal coagulation points (TCPs) created in the dermis and fascia (SMAS) layer induce a lifting effect through collagen coagulation, denaturation, and contraction.

    * TCP : Targeted Coagulated Point, Thermal Coagulation Point

  • Second Stage
New Autologous Collagen Production and Remodeling

When the thermal coagulation point (TCP) is created, this induces a regenerative reaction promoting long-term tissue remodeling and elasticity enhancement.

Ulthera Treatment Process

Before Treatment

Weakened collagen and
sagging skin

During Treatment

Concentrated ultrasound
energy is delivered to
targeted tissues
within the skin

    Visible Ultrasonic Lifting

    Skin Layer Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging

    Ultrasound Image of Treatment

Patented real-time ultrasound imaging technology (DeepSee™)
non-invasively allows you to see which area is being treated.
Through real-time video, you can visually see the different skin depth and
structure for each person allowing for safe and precise personalized treatment.

  • Optimal Temperature for New Collagen Production and Regeneration
60-70℃ of Heat are Accurately Delivered to Target Tissue!

  • Ultrasonic Energy is Delivered to Various Skin Depths

This is a non-invasive treatment that reaches both
uperficial and deep basal layers of the skin.
It is highly customizable and can be used at multiple
    depths of 1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 4.0mm.

Q&A
PROCEDURE QUESTIONS
  • Q. What is the difference between Shurink and Ulthera?
Toxnfill The treatment principles of Shurink and Ulthera are the same.

However, Ulthera (approved by the U.S. FDA) can be performed while viewing the skin layer through a monitor. It also lasts longer than Shurink, but the pain is slightly stronger, so ointment anesthesia and painkillers are used.
Shurink is a domestically produced device that copies Ulthera. Compared to Ulthera, the maintenance period is shorter and the pain is so low that it does not require ointment anesthesia.
If you cannot frequently visit a clinic, we recommend Ulthera. If you can frequently visit a clinic and are concerned about pain, we recommend Shurink.
  • Q. What is the difference between Ulthera and Thermage?
Toxnfill Both treatments are non-surgical anti-aging treatments, but there are differences in their treatment targets and principles of action.
Ulthera is a treatment that mainly targets the fascial layer (SMAS) and can provide a lifting effect through ultrasound.
Thermage FLX is a device that acts on the dermal layer and precisely radiates high frequency waves to the skin, so you can expect effects such as skin tightening and wrinkle improvement.
The 2 treatments can be performed simultaneously, and provide excellent anti-aging effects when performed together.
CAUTIONS
CAUTIONS

Self-care has as much of an impact on treatment effectiveness as maintenance.
Please read the precautions and follow them carefully.

  • You can wash your face and put on makeup right after the treatment. Please also use a hypoallergenic cleanser.
  • Following the treatment, it is recommended you wash your face with lukewarm water for 3 days following the treatment as this is more effective at retaining the treatment effects.
  • It is recommended you avoid excessive drinking, saunas/jimjillbangs, hot baths, peeling treatments, scrub products, and strenuous exercise for approximately a week after the treatment.
  • Depending on the individual, bruising, swelling, and a tingling sensation may occur, but these side effects are temporary and will fade within a few days.
  • After the treatment, we recommend taking care to block UV rays, applying moisturizer, and taking antioxidants such as vitamin C.
  • In rare cases, white stripes may occur during Ulthera treatment, but this can be sufficiently alleviated with appropriate medication. If you experience further symptoms, please contact the hospital.
